![]() ![]() With the explorer perk it gives me an edge on the Reilly's Ranger quest for mapping data, something to do on the side, and there's practically no effort required when intentionally searching for something. I actually prefer manual aim over V.A.T.S, because it sometimes takes away the genuine feeling of self satisfaction during kill, personally this only applies to specific weapons otherwise I find V.A.T.S the more tactical choice in some situations. I took the explorer perk because I don't use V.A.T.S all that much. I say go for the Sprint ability and take your time exploring.that's my opinion anyway. The ability to replenish AP with every kill in VATS is a great and very useful perk, especially against multiple, tough, opponents. If you take Explorer, you will never get something as useful as Grim Reaper's Sprint. I suppose the best way of putting it is that if you take Grim Reaper's Sprint, you can still discover every location on your own. Knowing where everything is is nice, of course, but you can always use online sources and maps to determine which places you haven't visited to make sure you've got everything. ♠ Truthfully, I think Reaper's Sprint is the best level 20 perk there is. ![]() ![]() Reapers Sprint seems pretty useful but I always wanted the explorer perk because I wanted to know where everything is and explore. Well, reaching lvl 20 soon and i'm wondering a good perk to choose. ![]()
